Meaning behind Emmaus:

The name of Emmaus Counseling Services was inspired by the story of the Road to Emmaus in the Gospel of Luke. As we journey through life, there can be many obstacles that impact our ability to feel connected to others.

At times we can feel like, in our lives, we are taking this road alone, much like the disciples following the Crucifixion of Jesus. Your journey does not end in pain. Together, we can take the road to healing and wellbeing as you rediscover who God created you to be and His presence
